Give Your Child an Edge in College Admissions WITH ASCEND

Welcome to ASCEND community

We help groom the younger generation into true citizens and ideal candidates for Ivy League schools.

ASCEND is an acronym for Afterschool Service and Career Engagement, Nurturing and Development. It is a progressive CSR initiative conceived by James Cubitt Developments to help teach children the culture of service, and instil humanitarian values in them while simultaneously giving them an advantage for admission qualification in Ivy League schools across the world.

From the Experts

Yes, we want students who have achieved in and out of the classroom, but we are also looking for things that are harder to quantify, like authentic intellectual engagement and a concern for others and the common good.
Jeremiah Quinlan
Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, Yale University
Volunteering and community service matter for your applications; I don't care how many hours you work, no admissions officer at a top graduate school is going to let you off the hook with the excuse: “I was working so much the past few years, I didn't have enough time or energy to do community service.
Kaneisha Grayson
HBS & HKS Graduate, Founder of “The Art of Applying”, MBA/MPP/Fellowships Consultant
We philosophically agree with many of the principal points in the document “Turning the Tide: Inspiring Concern for Others and the Common Good Through College Admissions” like promoting, encouraging, and developing good citizenship, strong character, personal responsibility, [and] civic engagement in high school students.
Gregory Roberts
Dean of Admissions, University of Virginia
We admire students who are involved in service-learning initiatives. In the same way that clubs and internships say something about who the student is, outreach work shows that students are interested in giving back to their communities and we value that.

Director of Graduate Affairs, Boston University
